"How about Delilah?"

Delphine let the book she was reading drop to her chest as she turned to look at her partner who was sitting in bed beside her. The woman was busy typing away at her computer as if she hadn't said anything. "Delilah?"

Cosima nodded. "Yeah you know like that song. Hey there Delilah…"

Wrinkling her nose, Delphine shook her head. "You want to name her after a one hit wonder?"

Cosima saved her work before shutting down her laptop and moving it to the bedside table. With a soft smile she slipped under the covers, slowly slipping her hand over the woman's belly. "I think it's pretty, like you." She leaned in for a kiss but felt a movement under her fingers and her smile widened as she began to move down the woman's body.

"Oh no you don't." Delphine stopped the woman with a firm hand on her chin. "You cannot tease me with promises of a kiss only to abandon me for the next cute girl that comes along." She covered the woman's ridiculously giddy smile with a kiss, feeling the laugh against her lips. "Fine! Go!" She released the woman in mock frustration.

With another quick kiss, Cosima pulled the blanket back, moving down to brush her lips across the woman's swollen stomach. "Hey, sweet girl." She felt movement under her fingertips and grinned. "Are you waking up when it's time to go to sleep?"

"Oui. She does not have a very good sense of time." Delphine set her book on the side, content to watch the interaction.

"Shhh, don't listen to her, little dude." She placed her ear against the woman's belly, smiling up at the blonde, pretty sure she could hear the baby's movements. "Nothing you do is ever going to be anything but perfect." She paused before adding, "As long as you don't destroy the terrain on the way out."

"Cosima!"

Laughing, Cosima gave the belly one more kiss before stretching out again.
